I have learned a new skill - ferry gliding. It is a very useful skill that canoeists have to cross a current. Here I am in the Duddon Estuary at Roanhead, swimming for a tennis ball.

The beach
We went to the beach at Roanhead this afternoon and I had my first swim in the sea! This was great and I loved digging in the sand as well.
We had fantastic views across the Duddon Estuary to the western fells.
Daddy says he hasn't been there before and we will definitely be going again. It is a National Trust site (Sandscale Haws). One thing I've learned - sea water is very salty and makes you very thirsty!
